PNEUMATICALLY BALANCED SERVO-VALVE
The ZETA's pneumatically balanced servo-valve is actually a two-stage
valve. Just a small sip through the mouthpiece opens the servo mechanism
or control valve lever. You work against the tiniest of springs,
making breathing underwater as natural as on land. Air flow from
the servo valve creates a vacuum which immediately opens the main
valve diaphragm allowing air to flow through the regulator to the
mouthpiece. Instead of one small port to provide air flow from the
first stage, the ZETA features porting around the entire main valve.
With less restriction from the first stage, the ZETA provides maximum
airflow regardless of depth.

ADJUSTABLE VENTURI SYSTEM
The deflector vane found in the DELTA diverts the airflow from the
valve directly to the mouthpiece, producing smooth venturi-assisted
inhalation.
With the addition of a user adjustable venturi system, in the form
of a simple yet ingenious switch, full adjustment control rests
in the hands of the diver.
COMPUTER OPTIMIZED DEFLECTOR VANE
Oceanic regulators are exclusively designed using the latest 3-D
computer modeling techniques. This allows us the ability to model
and test performance while still in the early stages of development.
The deflector vane found in the DELTA 3 diverts airflow from the
valve directly to the mouthpiece, producing smooth venturi-assisted
inhalation.
LIGHTWEIGHT
The DELTA 3's housing is made from an ABS/Polycarbonate composite
blend of materials making the DELTA 3 both extremely rugged and
lightweight, reducing jaw fatigue on extended dives. The extremely
lightweight cover ring is machined from a solid piece of aircraft
aluminum, and then hard anodized, utilizing a unique process to
prevent corrosion.
CHOICES
The DELTA 3 second stage is available with your choice of first
stage; DX4 Balanced Diaphragm, CDX Balanced Diaphragm, or PX2 Balanced
Piston.

DIVER ADJUSTABLE INHALATION
EFFORT
Most downstream demand valve regulators are calibrated during manufacturing
to a single, 'middle of the road' operation. Whether finning up
current at 100+ feet or merely snorkeling out to the dive site,
this factory adjustment may not be optimum for the wide variety
of demands we place on our equipment. A simple twist of the DELTA
3's adjustment knob enables complete control...set the inhalation
requirement to near zero when you need ultimate performance, or
tune it for greater resistance as conditions or preferences change.
DYNAMIC ADJUSTMENT U.S. Patent No. 5,660,502
A common objection to adjustable second stages is that divers can't
imagine themselves twisting and turning a knob as they descend and
ascend through the depths. If inhalation resistance is set near
zero at depth, your ascent would require you to manually increase
resistance as ambient water pressure is reduced to prevent free-flow.
Taking another stride beyond common second stage engineering, Oceanic
designed a patented DYNAMIC ADJUSTMENT feature into the heart of
the DELTA 3.
This mechanically balanced valve maintains a preferred breathing
resistance throughout the dive. Set it once and the DELTA 3 automatically
adjusts to make breathing as easy at 100 feet as it is at 30 feet
- with no additional manual adjustment.
NITROX COMPATIBILITY
Factory cleaned and assembled in a clean room environment with special
o-rings, halocarbon based lubricants and color-coded for easy identification,
the DELTA 3 NITROX gives you all you need in a reliable Nitrox-ready
regulator.
ORTHODONTIC MOUTHPIECE U.S. Patent No. 4,466,434 To further
reduce jaw fatigue, Oceanic regulators feature a patented Orthodontic
Mouthpiece, designed to accommodate the natural overbite of
the human jaw.
INTEGRATED PURGE BUTTON
Adding to the DELTA 3's rugged durability, an integrated purge button
is utilized to eliminate the possibility of free flow caused by
trapped sand and sediment.
SUBZERO - COLDWATER PROTECTION
The same high performance you find in the standard DELTA 3 and special
added features that make the SUBZERO the ideal regulator for diving
in extreme temperatures. An environmentally sealed first stage provides
uniform performance regardless of temperature or contaminants.

NRS Workboot
|
Used by river professionals, adventure racers, rescue
agencies, military units, and divers these are the hardest-working
boots on the water. Heavyduty lugged traction sole keeps you on
your feet in varied terrain, and the comfortable 7mm neoprene insole
absorbs the shock of every step. Lace-up synthetic leather and 5mm
neoprene uppers provide warmth, unmatched ankle support, and a secure
fit.

Oceanic JMC Super Mask
|
A lightweight modular full face mask that allows for
easy and rapid adaptation to various self-contained underwater breathing
apparatuses as well as surface supplied systems.
The removable lower pod is a feature unique to the SuperMask.
When diving, the pod is easily removed and replaced on the mask
for diver capability to buddy-breathe, use a snorkel or an octopus
or perform an “in water” gas switch.
With the pod sealed to the mask, the flexible silicone pod
cover allows the diver to quickly place the regulator mouthpiece
in. The regulator may be used without the pod being sealed to the
mask.
The mask frame and rigid components are made of high
impact plastic. The face seal is made of the highest quality silicone,
which conforms to the diver’s face. The modular removable
mouth pod is designed to quickly interchange allowing the diver
multiple breathing gas options. The mask is also designed to accept
various wireless communications configurations.

VT Pro with MRF Broadband Tranmitter
|
The VT Pro will ship with a new MRF Broadband
Wireless Transmitter, featuring numerous improvements over the design
used with the original DataTrans and DataTrans Plus. Visually, you
will see a new look, replacing the old machined brass base with
a stylish molded plastic. This new MRF Broadband Transmitter is
lighter than the Original and allows for easy identification. Most
importantly, several electronic circuitry changes have been made
to improve transmission strength and reliability.
